Race FAQ

Is there a registration deadline?

There is no registration deadline for the either race although you will save money by registering early.  The registration fees increase as the event gets closer and race day registration is the most expensive.

What is included with my registration?

All Half Marathon and 5K participants will receive an official Peace Officer Memorial Run Tech shirt, goody bag, on course entertainment, on course aid stations with water and performance drinks and entry into the post-race food and refreshments corral. All half marathon finishers will receive an exclusive finishers medal.

What time does the race start?

The half marathon starts at 8:00a.m. PST on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. The 5K starts at 8:20 a.m. and the Kids Fun Run starts at 10:30 a.m.

Where do I get my race number?

You can pick up your race number on Saturday, September 24th, from 10am-6pm at the Fleet Feet Sports Store in Modesto located at 1427 Standiford Ave. Anyone missing the packet pickup can pick up their packets on race day at our registration desk near the start line.

Where can I obtain merchandise?

Merchandise will be available at the Packet Pickup and the Race Day Expo.

Where can I check my gear during the race?

Gear check is provided for all participants, and is located at the corner of 10th St and I St.

What are the different award divisions?

Open Male/Female

Multiple male/female age group categories: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds for the Peace Officer Memorial Run Half Marathon or 5k events.
